THE SECRET OF VICTORY IN THE WAR ON TERRORISM
By J. R. Nyquist

Most battles are decided when one side or the other loses heart. Armies and nations do not typically fight to the last man. They fight until their faith gives out. And this is what we must fortify against. It is time to inwardly prepare, because a great test lies in front of us. If we fail that test, there is no second chance. There is no opportunity to go back.

Most of the citizens of this country are psychologically unprepared for what lies ahead. They are not right with God, they are not right with themselves, and they are not yet prepared to accept the sacrifices that will be needed to preserve the country. As a people, we yet cling to illusions of peace and prosperity. Instead, we should be contemplating the requirements of victory. We should be hardening ourselves and focussing our attention on the enemy.

Weapons of mass destruction have been prepared against us. At present, we are virtually defenseless against these weapons. We haven't taken measures needed to protect our cities. We have not broken out of the ABM Treaty, and we have not developed an effective counter-intelligence capability. There is no doubt that great loses are inevitable, that our system will change, that our enemies will emerge from the shadows to claim final victory.

Are you ready? Do you have the courage to fight on?

The country is reluctant to properly name its enemies. It is reluctant to terminate its trade relations with China, to prosecute corrupt officials, to call traitors to account. The FBI has not gone after the Russian mafia, we have not closed the border to millions of illegal aliens. Even now we prosecute the war in a politically correct way. Most Muslims admire Osama bin Laden and we're afraid to see this fact when it stares us in the face.

A spirit of appeasement and false hope yet animates our policy.

But all of that will change when the first great bomb explodes, when the first city has its water supply poisoned, when the first major biological attack takes place, when radioactive waste is purposely released in a major metropolitan area. A change will occur. Make no mistake.

Then will come the great test of strength that every army faces. Only, this time, the army is a nation (i.e., the citizens of this country). Will we panic and run for our lives, or will we stand by our posts and preserve order in the face of attack, so that others can carry on and recover? Will we think only of ourselves, of personal escape, or will we think of the nation?

Those firemen and policemen who perished in New York did not think of themselves. They climbed the Twin Towers and fate overtook them, doing their job in the midst of fire and confusion. Mark it well. If the day ever comes in this country when policemen and firemen run away, when the community runs away and hides in caves and forests, afraid to perform a citizen's duty, then collapse will not be far off.

Whatever happens, we must stay at our posts. We must not lose faith. It will then be up to our leaders to see a way through the darkness. And it must be acknowledged in the near future that these terrorists are not our only enemy. The Communists in China, Vietnam, North Korea, Cuba, and elsewhere wish to overtake and slaughter us. They have fed the terror machine. They are the ones who have exported missile and nuclear technology to terrorist states, hoping that one day the terror would fall on America. They are the ones who waited on world revolution to bring down the U.S. government in favor of what they call a "proletarian dictatorship."

Consider the spirit of envy as it animates evil, both Communist evil and Islamist evil.

Read more carefully the complaints of Osama bin Laden. He is animated by that same jealously of power, that same inferiority of soul, exemplified by the gangsters of Marxism-Leninism. One need not discriminate between shades of evil. The heart of darkness is always the same, whatever flag it flies.

In our midst, there are enemies, traitors, Comunists, and Far-Left Liberals. (Let us not be naive.) They are a minority, but they are well organized. Some are professors in our universities, preaching poisonous hatred of America. Others are Holllywood producers who salt their films with perversion and subversion. A few of the traitors are in our government, passing secrets to China and Russia. They have names like Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanssen. They are even in high public office--senators whose husbands do business with China and Russia; congressmen compromised by scandal; CIA officers caught in corruption; and careerists in the FBI who've turned their backs on informants.

Benedict Arnold was the first of many.

When the big hit comes against America, when millions are dying, remember the work of the traitors. Think of who they are and what they have accomplished. Even more, consider the consequences of our national irresponsibility, our failure to think seriously about security and intelligence issues. All the death and mayhem that is now coming, that is now inevitable, might have been prevented.

Are you ready for a wakeup, America?

You'd better be.
