ISLAMIC JIHAD & THE FREE WORLD

In late October, at least 14 travelers on an Israeli bus were incinerated and 50 were wounded in a Holocaust carried out by a group calling itself Islamic Jihad. Islamic Jihad means holy war, which is presently being waged by its adherents until Islam, or submis- sion, is achieved. Members of this rapidly growing international movement are fighting their Islamic Jihad against peoples and nations who refuse to submit to Islam, (Islam literally means "submission.") Because Israel exists as a non-submitted or non-Islamic state, the Islamic fundamentalists consider Israelis to be fair game for murder. The Muslim fundamentalist views Israelis, regardless of age or gender, as military targets. As long as Israel refuses to submit to Islam, the Jewish state will remain, in literal Islamic doctrine, the main obstacle standing in the way of an Islamic utopia.
Almost 200 tourists on the Hindu island of Bali were also recently incinerated in an act of Jihad to achieve Islam, or submission. Bombs are going off in the Catholic Philippines and buses are being machine-gunned in Hindu India for the same reason. Non-Muslim Africans are regularly slaughtered in south Sudan and elsewhere in the name of Jihad. Christians are leaving their ancient homelands in Lebanon in droves and are being mur- dered with increasing regularity in Egypt. In the name of Jihad, over 3,000 people were killed on American soil on September 11, 2001.
In a sense, the world is facing the same crisis today that it has faced in the past. The essential difference--a difference the free world had better wake up and recognize before its too late--is that those who threaten freedom today may already possess weapons of mass destruction and have demonstrated a type of recklessness and disregard for human life, including their own, that will lead them to use their weapons of mass destruction. Unlike Christianity, Islam demands political and temporal subservience. Unlike Judaism, with its modest and proper claims to sovereignty in a tiny region between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, the Islamic Ummah seeks control of the entire planet.
Like Communism and Nazism, two secular Statist/Socialist faiths that also sought sub- mission and world domination, Islam. as a political faith, must be crushed in order for a semblance of peace to exist. President Franklin D. Roosevelt established peace and stirred the moral fervor of the free world when he called for the "unconditional surren- der" of the Nazis. Likewise, President Ronald W. Reagan bestirred the conscience of freedom loving peoples everywhere when he spoke of the "Evil Empire" and called for a tearing down of the Berlin Wall. These great leaders met the threat to peace and free- dom their generation faced head on. President George W. Bush is now also moving in the right direction.
Islam, as a political force, must be utterly crushed for the good of the free world and also for the good of freedom-loving Muslims. Christians must be able to live safely and unmo- lested in their ancestral homelands alongside Muslims. The Philippines, Indonesia, India, China, Russia, African nations, and other countries likewise threatened by imperialistic Islam should take any and all measures to quickly wipe out the Muslim militias and ter- rorists before they strike again. They must so this to restore peace and law and order in their countries. Israel, in order to survive, must utterly destroy the terrorist infrstructure within its borders and, only then, offer limited semi-autonomy to Muslims who prove themselves willing to live peaceably alongside Jews.
