Why?
Because we are so much better than they are.
They're taught from birth to hate us and to covet what's ours. They know they can't have it, so they teach their children it's not only good politically and economically to kill anybody who doesn't follow their religion, it's also a good thing morally and religiously. They teach their children that, if they're killed in the act of killing us, they'll be rewarded in Paradise, doing what they can't do on Earth, screwing around with their own bunch of virgins (who somehow stay virgins).
They Use Our Inventions to Hurt Us
They couldn't hurt us without using the very things we invented and made available to the world, and to them: cell phones with which they can call all over the world, giving instructions on how and where to hurt us; radios for local communication, television, which they use for public relations, airplanes with which they take down the very buildings within which the people who support those airplanes are housed (which they can't do anymore, because we're wise to them).
They're 15th. Century, We're 21st.
They're so far behind, they don't know how to make these things. Their rulers keep them poor, using available resources to purchase the things they can't make, including modern weaponry to equip large armies and security police forces, scientific and milirary expertise and materials to develop weapons of mass destruction, and the luxury items and other goods necessary for supporting and maintaining the rulers' lavish personal lifestyles. To avoid the blame for the misery and wretched economic conditions imposed on their peoples, the rulers teach them that it's all our fault. They're so busy killing us they don't have time to think that it is their own rulers that are to blame.
Religious War?
They, and their friends in the press, accuse U.S. President George W. Bush of "waging a religious war" against them. But they're "waging a religious war" against the U.S.A. and the West -- against us. Can anybody say "jihad"?
They're Jealous!
That's it, in a nutshell. They can't hope, with their system, to ever equal us. So, they want to "take us down" to their level
Their Fallacy
Their fallacy is this: the closer they get to "bringing us down," the fewer things they can get from us and use to them accomplish their objective of "bringing us down."
The Same Fight
We're fighting the same fight with Leftwing Liberals, who want to "bring us down" to their level.
The Liberal Leftists know that Collectivism (Socialism) doesn't work, but they're "in denial." They think that Collectivism just hasn't yet been tried in its "purest" form. And that's a fallacy in their thinking.
Both Alike
Collectivism and Wahhabism (Wahhabi Islamism) are just alike in that neither can equal the achievements of individuals who wish to benefit themselves from their industry and have the freedom and incentive to do, instead of being forced into an economic system in which the bulk of the products of that system are taken from the producers and given to the non-producers, just "given away," unearned, to those who cannot or will not equal the efforts of the producers, but who want the lion's share of the system's products anyway, expecting to get it without working for it.
Just in case you're wondering why there is so much opposition to the war among Leftwing Liberals, the paragraph immediately above tells you why. Do these Liberals see "kindred souls" among the Islamic terrorists? The Liberals themselves may not see the "kindred souls," or ideological "soul mates," but they are there. Liberals and Islamist Collectivists both think the same way, way down deep. They want what's ours without having to earn it.
